What appears to be a dress to you looks to me to be his great coat, which is full length. I think it is a male, with mustache, but i have no other info yet.

This is an intriguing photo! It's a bit fuzzy from where I am, but am I correct in thinking that the crier is wearing a dress and is therefore a lady crier? If so, this must be one of the earliest female criers which we have an image of. Perhaps only Beetty Dick is earlier. Please tell me more!
